August 21: Bob O'Malley Orlando Economic Partnership, Senior Vice President Of Government Affairs Discusses The Importance Of Rail In Central Florida

Bob O’Malley is Senior Vice President of Government Affairs for the Orlando Economic Partnership (OEP).

Prior to joining OEP, Bob operated his own government relations firm, Right Track Public Affairs. In this role, he worked for various clients in the transportation industry. His most notable project was working on the development of the Sunshine Corridor, the expansion of SunRail from Orlando International Airport to the Orange County Convention Center.

He previously held executive positions with MetroPlan Orlando, CSX Transportation, and Brightline Trains. In addition, Bob currently serves as a City Commissioner for the City of Altamonte Springs.

Bob is a two-time graduate of the University of Central Florida, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Master of Public Administrations (MPA) degree. He is also a graduate of Leadership Orlando Class 54, Leadership Florida Class 30, and the Senior Executives in State and Local Government program at the Harvard Kennedy School.
