Eddy Moratin is the president of Lift Orlando, a movement of business leaders working with residents and community partners to achieve neighborhood revitalization.


Lift Orlando strengthens neighborhoods by building high-quality, mixed-income housing and providing cradle-to-career education pathways while improving community health and creating economic opportunities for residents. Their purpose-built developments have been increasing financial mobility for families in the heart of Orlando since 2013.


As a social entrepreneur, Eddy has led purpose-driven organizations in real estate, leadership development, communications, and business services. He was awarded the 2019 CEO of the Year Award by the Orlando Business Journal and was listed as one of the 50 Most Powerful Philanthropy and Community Voices. He is the author of the upcoming book “The Joy of Justice”.


Eddy is chairman of the board for the Jacksonville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of

Atlanta and a member of the board of directors of the Orlando Economic Partnership. He serves on the board of advisors for The Urban Land Institute’s Central Florida Chapter, the 4 Roots Foundation, and the NCF Foundation, and is a member of the Florida Council of 100.


Eddy lives in Orlando, Florida, with his wife Giselle and their two children, Isabella and son Kristopher.
