October 8: Barry University Associate Professor of Law Jason Buhi: Back to The Future: Arguing History and Tradition At The U.S Supreme Court


Jason Buhi is an Associate Professor of law at Barry University’s Andreas School of Law where he instructs courses in Constitutional Law, Election Law, and Torts. Prior to that, Professor Buhi taught at the Peking University School of Transnational Law in Shenzhen, China.


He earned his J.D. from the Pennsylvania State University and his Ph.D. in Constitutional Law from The University of Hong Kong, where he was honored to serve as a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholar. Professor Buhi’s scholarly interests include constitutional history and interpretation, freedom of assembly, democratic elections, and the protection of federalism and regional autonomy.


He has published two books and over 20 scholarly articles in both the United States and the People's Republic of China, including venues such as Cambridge University Press, Hong Kong Law Journal, Indiana Law Review, and the Texas International Law Journal. He is a member of the Maryland and Washington D.C. bar associations, the International Society of Public Law, and the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary.
