Kenia Rodriguez-Spengler, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist, and has been a member of the Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute Neuropsychology Group since 2010.
Dr. Rodriguez-Spengler earned her PsyD in clinical psychology, specialized in neuropsychology, from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She then completed an American Psychological Association-approved internship, with a focus in rehabilitation neuropsychology, at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Following her internship, Dr. Rodriguez-Spengler completed a two-year post-doctoral fellowship program in clinical neuropsychology at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Division of Neuropsychology.
Dr. Rodriguez-Spengler specializes in bilingual neuropsychological assessment, conducting evaluations in both Spanish and English. Her interests include dementia, movement disorders, and traumatic brain injury. She provides assessment of brain capabilities in relation to a variety of neurological disorders associated with post-concussion syndrome, cerebrovascular accidents, cognitive impairment due to cancer/cancer treatments, concussion, seizures, and memory loss and aging. She also conducts presurgical neuropsychological evaluations for deep brain stimulation and seizures.
Dr. Rodriguez-Spengler has worked primarily with adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She has participated in clinical research trials and collaboration for Parkinson’s disease, deep brain stimulation, traumatic brain injury, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. She is a member of the National Academy of Neuropsychology, Hispanic Neuropsychological Association, Florida Psychological Association, and International Neuropsychology Society.
