Kevin Sherin: Starting a Family Medicine Training Program in Today’s Medical Environment.

Kevin Sherin MD grew up in a small town in Massachusetts and aspired to be a family practice physician. He graduated from Loyola Medical School in Chicago and practiced family practice from residency graduation until moving to FL.
He served as a Health Officer in Sebring and Polk County from 1989-1993. While there, he joined the Rotary Club of Avon Park.
He moved back to Chicago and became a founding residency program director in the Chicago area in Illinois from 1994-2004.
Kevin moved back to Florida and worked in Public Health as Health Officer in Orange County from 2004-2014 and 2015-2019. He joined Rotary Club of Orlando in 2006.
In 2019 he started a free clinic in Orlando, Clinica Mi Salud, on Goldenrod. Most recently he worked for AdventHealth Sebring in 2019 and helped to start a new family medicine training program.
He moved back to Orlando in June and is once again a member of Rotary Club of Orlando.
