District Governor Don Harris – Official Visit

Don has served as a Rotarian since 1991 and is currently a member of the Rotary Club of Lake Mary. He has served in a variety of club positions, including club president. He is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow and has been honored with the Board of Directors Service Award, Rotarian of the Year, and Service Above Self awards twice each.
Don enjoyed a 30-year career in the technology industry in Sales, Marketing, and Management with Unisys, Jack Henry and Associates, and Harland Financial Solutions. He owns Donald A. Harris and Associates, Inc., a strategic business consulting practice, and has partnered with Pearl Business Group, LLC., providing outsourced CFO, COO, business development, marketing, operational, and financial management resources to small and medium-sized organizations.
In addition to Rotary, Don is active with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Florida and has served as on the Corporate Board as Chairman of the Seminole County Branches for 4 years. Mr. Harris is a graduate of Leadership Seminole, served 6 years on the Executive Council, and is a Certified Board Advisor. He has previously served as a Boy Scouts of America Committee Chair, Rescue Run Committee, and as Vice Chair of Missouri Easter Seals.
He has been married to his most important client, and largest supporter, his wife Janie for almost 40 years and has 4 children, and 7 grandchildren. Janie’s grandfather was a Rotarian, and she is very active in supporting Rotary events, and Rotarians in her Real Estate practice.
Don and Janie enjoy playing golf, traveling, (especially to see family, children, and grandchildren), spending time at the beach, boating, and fellowship with fellow Rotarians and friends.
