Member John Perrone is a native of Louisiana and a graduate of Louisiana Stat University. After working for several design-build firms in Texas and Louisiana he became a licensed landscape architect .
In 1987 he moved to Orlando to see as the City of Orlando Parks Division Manager where he has served with distinction for the past 15 years. In FY 2020 he was responsible for a $12.7 million budget and 116 parks in the city. He has been awarded The City of Orlando Employee Of The Year McNamara Award.
He has been an Adjucnt Professor at Valencia College teaching landscape design and construction.
He has been married to wife, Mary, for 27 years and has two adult sons. He has been a Rotarian since January 20, 2016. He has been awarded Member Of The Year and a Paul Harris Award
