The 4Roots Community – Trip Snelson

Trip Snelson joined the 4Roots team as Project Director in February 2021. His responsibilities include leading a comprehensive development strategy for 4Roots’ key initiative, the 4Roots Farm Campus—an urban farm and agriculture center in the heart of Orlando—and their community expressions and programming.
Mr. Snelson has over 30 years of experience in development, project management and consulting services for nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Throughout his career, he has completed projects for 26 nonprofit clients from local to state-wide initiatives. These projects include forming and funding Northern California’s first nonprofit public/private partnership for economic development and funding a state-wide certification program for the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture.
Snelson earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Florida Southern College and completed an Applied Engineering program at Oklahoma State University.
Trip and his wife JoAnne have three children, Caitlin, Andrew, and Sarah.
